A place for debate, a place to hang out and a place fore the children to play.
The installation of the piece and reorganisation of the ‘banquet hall’, the central room of the building, opened up a place for the women living in the shelter and the women working in the offices and created a neutral and welcoming place to meet on equal terms. A symbol of public space, in a protected area closed to the public and to men.
